When your head hurts, the first thing you go for might be ibuprofen or tylenol. While this might provide temporary relief, what happens when you still can’t shake the pain? Another option for combating headache pain is with essential oils.
Essential oils are highly-concentrated liquids made from the leaves, stems, flowers, bark, roots, or other elements of a plant. The use of essential oils can offer a wealth of health benefits such as stress relief and even help in improving circulation via sensory stimuli, or scent. And, essential oils can be used to treat headaches or migraines.
To use essential oils, some might need to be diluted in a carrier oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, or sweet almond oil. However, some might not require a carrier oil.
